  • Ms. Connell represented a prominent national bank as the second-chair trial attorney in federal jury trial, obtaining a full defense verdict.

  • Ms. Connell participated in obtaining a voluntary dismissal of a class action lawsuit filed against a national bank, before any response to the complaint was due to be filed.

  • Ms. Connell represented a land owner in connection with a failed sale of property, obtaining a judgment in the amount of $1,000,000 through enforcement of a liquidated damages provision.

  • Ms. Connell has represented successful asylum applicants before the USCIS and Baltimore Immigration Court.

Elisabeth R. Connell practices civil litigation, mostly in the areas of mortgage banking, real estate lending and construction, toxic torts, and contract disputes, and has represented clients in bench and jury trials. Ms. Connell also practices in the area of cannabis law and regulatory  compliance and has experience representing cultivators.

 

Before joining the firm, Ms. Connell worked in the commercial litigation group of a large national law firm, as a solo practitioner and as a law clerk in the trial court for Baltimore City, Maryland.
