Edward Huguenin and Drew Wagner-Weir recently racked up two major law and motion victories. First, HK secured an order on demurrer dismissing with prejudice a $3.8 million dollar fraud case against one of our cannabis clients. And just this month, Messrs. Huguenin and Wagner-Weir also prevailed on a Motion for Summary Judgment to end a multi-year long fraud case against one of our largest institutional homebuilder clients. There, the Plaintiffs sought over a half-million in compensatory damages, as well as punitive damages and attorney’s fees. HK is now in the process of seeking its costs, including attorneys’ fees incurred in the defense.
